Anti Farming Code
I was green farming and appeared a warning saying that drop will decrese quality if i continued farming.
Does someone know something about that?
Ways to avoid the code or reset its value? I've heard can be done doing some quests or so..

Yeah, I think people should really stop saying "search, search, search". It is down most of the time and the person is asking a sensible question about a suitable topic.
And, unfortunately I don't know many of the logistics about the Farm Code, so, sorry there.

the search feature is locked down for most of the day. makes it rather usless to tell people to use something that isn't actually usable.

Yeah they should just completely eliminate the search button because for one most people dont use it and those who do it doesnt work 3/4ths of the time. so instead of telling someone to use the POS search button. offer them what you know about whatever their asking...
All I know about the Anti-Farming Code is that yes you can reset/up the rate by doing several things but mostly questing/missions what have you for a while then switch back into farm mode.

Would logging out and exiting, then coming back into the game stop this? I'm testing it out but it's kinda hard to know

I remember someone saying, but don't quote me on this, that you can deactivate it by leveling up normally, doing a mission and finishing it, zoning into 3 different areas.
What I did to reset that code was doing the easiest mission I could find in Ascalon and then call it a day.
When I green farm, I kill them about 8 times before doing something else.

I don't know if you are one, but if you aren't ...remember that you once we're one, and how was it you learn't about gw ? ASKING thats how.
anyway, staying on topic.. if you just circulate around 4-5 farming places... you should not encounter it.

Seriously, people need to relax when seeing questions like this. This is a forum. People go here and post questions to learn more about the game. Not everyone have the time to browse the whole forum for that one answer that was discussed 2 months ago.

I've never encountered the warning
Do about 10 runs in one place, then go somewhere else and do 10 runs there, then go back to the first place. I rotated between Hydras and Trolls for a while.

IF U WERE TOO STUPID TO BEGIN WITH
---when it gives u that "tip"---
theres a huge freaking explination saying STOP FARMING THIS AREA FOR A WHILE AND GO ELSE WHERE
where's the freaking complication in that?
|
when the warning appeared i WENT ELSE WHERE and went farming another boss near another city. I killed him about 20 times and he didnt drop green (and often nothing at all).
so its not a problem of location. i have just to do something (missions or quests, i dunno, im asking this) to return to normal situation.
if u know something write it now, otherwise go into another topic and dont flame here pls

I've never gotten the anti-farm spam, ever. I usually don't have time to do the same thing 10X over. What I always do is change what I'm doing every 3-4 runs. Or change chars and do a mission, then come back to what I was doing.
For example I was doing a bunch of FF runs in conservatory and was checking the chests there. I got like 10 purple chests in a row, and was starting to wonder what was going on. So I went and did Raishu's Palace with a group and then killed Shiro too. Then I went back to FF runs and the first chest I hit dropped rare. Not only did it drop rare, it was a Runic Axe Req 8 15/-5. Who knows maybe dumb luck? All I know is the chests started dropping ~ 50% golds for the next few runs and I was happy...

if u killed him 20 times u obviusly didnt read the warning message very clearly, and as for u were a noob once, ya we were, but i dont remember anyone around to pester becuz i had this game since the beta testing, so no i DIDNT ASK cuz no one else knew, i found out on my own, for gods sakes how many tools does one man need?
besides this complex forum, online strategies guides, the manual that came with the game unless u were a cheap jerk and downloaded it, and jsut other subjects on other forums.......GOOGLE.......
after all that, ur telling me u culd think of nothing better but ask the question here only to probably wait a few good hours for a response
(not to mention the countless ppl u can bug in game...which so many other jerks do)
